What is this risk assessment for?
This risk assessment covers the generic risks in towing vehicles out on event sites. Vehicle Recovery will only be undertaken by people skilled in the area and requested by Team Lead / Event Lead.

Trapping / Crush injury | Team Members, Bystanders | - When using shackles or clips to connect ropes and wires to towing eyes to make sure fingers and hands are not in the areas where they can get trapped easily.
- Whilst undertaking vehicle recovery - in all situations, there must be a banksman to co-ordinate the recovery with both drivers and ensure safety of bystanders
- Ensure nobody is stood between vehicles, or in snap back zones
